Where can I get the remote control for Suzuki XL-7 DVD player

I bought a pre-owned 2007 Suzuki XL-7 with the DVD player. No remote came with the car. I tried programing a universal remote with no luck. Is there a universal remote that will work or will I have to order it from Suzuki?

Same problem here. No remote for the DVD. Also missing the two pairs of wireless headphones and the owners manual. Found a pdf of the owners manual online. You can buy the remote and headphones through Suzuki for $189 and $129 for each set of headphones. We just bought a re-posessed 2007 XL7 from a GM dealer and are working with them to obtain the missing parts at wholesale price.

I eventually found the solution in the owners manual page 3-69..... " If the remote control becomes lost or damaged, a new universal control can be purchased. If this happens, make sure the universal remote control uses a code set for Toshiba." .... I had an extra Toshiba remote from an old DVD and it works perfectly on my XL7's dvd player!

Had the same problem. My wife went to a car audio place and bought the wireless headphones, I think they were cheaper. And I just bought a universal remote from Radio Shack, its a Radio Shack brand little gray remote. It was 9.99. You have to use the "search for codes" option in the instructions. I can turn the tv on, off, stop, play, skip, all that stuff.

How is going serpentine belt on 3.6 engine by suzuki 2007

the universal rule for serpentine belts is, ribbed pully is front side of the belt and shiny pully is back side of the belt, there should also be a one tensioner pully that is either spring loaded or tighten by a screw.

How do I program my new Suzuki keyless entry remote to work with our new SUV?

I bought a remote the other day and got these instructions with it. They worked!

1. Make sure vehicle is in Park
2. Press Vehicle Information button (has the icon of a car and an 'i')until 'PRESS *check mark* TO RELEARN REMOTE KEY' displays.
3. Press set/reset button. The message 'REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE' will display.
4. Press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on the transmitter at the same time for about 15 seconds. A beep will sound indicating that the transmitter is matched.
5. To match additional transmitters at this time, repeat Step 3. Each vehicle can have a maximum of four transmitters matched to it.
6. To exit the program mode, you must cycle the key to LOCK.
