Back to old school....


Find 1st cylinder.. Remove the plug and bring it to TDC

Check your timing belt.. for TDC

Are you getting spark from the coil ? How's the rotor ?

Ignition switch , possibly . GM had ignition switch issues . Plus GM had instrument cluster issues as well . Have you ever heard of silver migration in electronic componets with solder connections ? Take it to Auto Zone or O`riellys and they will test it for you at no charge.They can check your charging and starting system also.Hope this helps.Good luck.

usually regulator. Charge battery for a few hours. Start engine and see if the voltage is 14 1/2 approx. That would mean system is charging and it's a bad battery

It could be bad battery cables

Check fuel pressure. It sound like you have a bad fuel pump.

If possible can you pull codes? It sounds like it could be a bad Injector driver module. I have seen alot of these do the same thing. Only bad thing the module is very expensive.

With the engine running remove the positive battery cable, if the engine continues to run the alternator is good and the battery is probably bad. If the engine dies then the opposite is true.

Your cable from the battery needs to be in great shape. If this happens mostly when the weather is very hot, it is quite likely the cause.
