Headlamps seem just fine and leveltook to the Toyota dealer and after $90 diagnostic said I need to replace the sensor to level headlamps (cost $400)is it even necessary as lights seem to be functioning okay, just the dash warning light won't go off.It is a 2005 Toyota Priusotherwise no problems with car or dealer
There is an issue with the height control sensor on the Prius product. Is it still under warranty? If not, go back to the dealer and tell them that you want scheduled to see the District Service and Parts Operations Manager. When you meet with him/her, explain the situation, and the costs involved. He/she has the ability to grant "goodwill" assistance, and possibly help you out on the repair, with Toyota participating in some of the costs.
Can't hurt to try. More often than not, the DSPOMs are very flexible, and like to promote customer satisfaction.
I would still consider making an appointment with the DSPOM. Perhaps he/she may still participate with assisting you, and, in your case, since you have already paid, a refund of some money to you may be possible.
I'd appreciate an upgrade of the rating you gave, I am really trying to help you.
You are welcome. Glad to help.
That is what FixYa is all about...helping people.

Blue Water Warning Light on
Dash?
http://whatisbyme.blogspot.in/2012/07/blue-water-warning-light-on-dash.html
--------------
Whenever this warning or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating that the systems control module has detected a fault, it then disables the system as long as the light is on. You must now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool and "scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for the problem(s)

THE WARNING SIGN WILL COME ON IN THE MORNING. AFTER ENGINE WARMS UP TO ABOUT 23 DEGREES CENTIGRADE AND I A=SWITCH OFF THE ENGINE THE WARNING LIGHT GOES OFF
I already replaced the sensor, thanks anyway
I will try your suggestion, thanks
1.musty odor from vents when using the air ventilation system or the AC.
2.Very noisy wipers especially with light rain.
Both of these problems have been on going since
I have owned the car and the dealer seems to be incapable when it comes to a permanent fix.Car only has 77k and is in good shape otherwise and I would like to keep it if they can be remedied.
