You probaly have a bad crank sensor. this will not let the fuel pump kick in if it goes bad

SOURCE: 95 buick park avenue ignition problem

What is the fuel pressure it has to be at least

  1. Ignition "OFF" for 10 Seconds.
  2. With ignition "ON," engine "OFF" and fuel pump running, pressure should be 333-376 kPa (48-55 psi). For additional fuel pressure testing, See: Computers and Control Systems\Testing and Inspection\Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures\A - E Charts & Related Test Procedures\A Charts\Chart A-7 Fuel System Diagnosis
  3. Have you tested the compression?
  4. A totally plugged cataltic converter can cause tis too because the engine cannot breathe
  5. to verify a plugged cat connect a vacuum guage to manifold vacuum and ccrank the engine you should get at least 2-4" of cranking vacuum providing the timing chain has not jumped and the cat is not plugged

SOURCE: 92 buick park ave security light on car wont start

Someone put the wrong key (resistor value) in the ignition lock, you will have to disconect the battery for 3 min. Make sure you have the right key. Very important! Make sure the climate control is off before disconecting/conecting the battery.

96 buick park ave wont start fire from coils gas at rail wont start

Could be any number of things: throttle position sensor, crankshaft position sensor, camshaft position sensor, etc etc etc

Get an OBD reader to determine any fault codes.

My 96 buick park ave won't start n cold weather why

Could be a long list of possible causes.
Have you had the spark and fuel pressure checked ? It takes more fuel and more spark to start an engine in cold weather.

96 Buick Park Avenue, heater wont blow hot air. How can I tell if it might be the thermostat or the heater core?

Start the car and let it warm up. After it is warmed up open the hood. Look for your top radiator hose, and see if you can squeeze the hose, if the hose is hard to squeeze, the thermastat is stuck shut. If your heater core was out, it would be leaking badly.

Crank sensor, ignition module under the coils these all would be good places to check. You might want to see if there are any codes.
