Mopar plugs are gapped at .035, while points are .020 for /6 and .017 for all V8s. You can get a gapper at any parts store for maybe five bucks- it's just a set of little pieces of metal of the right size to stick in there. You need the kind that are a thin strip of metal- the disk kind you can use for plugs won't work because you can't fit it down in there.
A circle is 360 degrees. If you moved the pointer on a clock from '12' through 360 degrees, the pointer would be back at 12 - having travelled 360 degrees in a complete circle.
Half a circle is 180 degrees - if you moved the clock pointer from '12' through 180 degrees it would point at '6'.
A 140 degree turn just means that you turn the bolt clockwise through 140 degrees. Put a small mark on the top of the bolt - at the 12 o'clock position then turn the bolt until the mark is at about where '5' would be on a clock face.
first of all you need to use everything that was on the 360 on the 360. change every thing back then take its wiring harness and computer and use them and everything should work. 1996 and newer all get certain commands from the pcm (computer) and without those commands the vehicle will not work right. hope i was of help good luck
Jeep 360 and the Mopar 360 are different motors and may have different firing order. The Mopar firing order is 18436572 in a clockwise rotation. It may have a tower labeled 1 for the 1 spark plug.
are you sure you have an amc 360 and not a 304 and also are you sure the flywheel came from an amc 360 and not a chevy 350? A 350 will bolt directly in place of the 360. You might also try a 350 flywheel.
