SOURCE: O-ring on turbo oil return
if you clean it at the block and put on some sealer it helps, the only way to fix it if your asking this ? would be to pay a VOLVO tech to do it correct or live with it it is very common and is normally not a big leak
SOURCE: Oil in the turbo, smoking bad!
check to make sure the turbo oil return pipe is not clogged. if it is pressure will build up causing oil leak through seal causing it to smoke.
SOURCE: Rebuilt turbo installed and car still smokes
what color is the smoke if blue it is oil, if black or grey its fuel ,didyou have theinjectors seviced? if it is oil take it back to who ever rebuilt it
SOURCE: 2001 Volvo s40 oil leaking in turbo, smokes white
Water in combustion chamber makes white smoke--suspect that the head gasket is leaking water into the chamber. If oil leaking around turbo, it may have a bad bearing and bad oil seal. Check waste gate valve and control.

check head gasket and also check inlet manifold for cracks or inlet gasket
