When i take the blower motor out of the casing it sits in it works but when i put it back in it dosent
Well, you need a new blower motor. You have maybe just a few brushes broke or badly worn so it still tries to operate. Brushes are worn/broken so the weight of the motor with squirrel cage up prevents rotation but, on it's side there's less weight so it's able to turn. I had the same problem --I have owned my 95 Nissan Sentra for almost 14 years at 246,000 it is still the most dependable vehicle I have owned.
