Hard miss at idle comes and goes no reason started three days ago had tune up dist cap rotpr plugs two months back runs great even under accelaration you would think you shut key off for split second then back on maybe two three times in row and then may not do it at next sevral stop lights
You could have a plug wire periodically leaking voltage to ground if the wiring is not properly installed, or a problem with your distributor/rotor, but could also be caused by many other sensors (such as a faulty crankshaft sensor) or problems with your fuel system (filter, regulator, etc.).
I would check these plug wires carefully for contact with the engine and good connections at the distributor/plugs, and also add a good quality fuel system cleaner (gas tank additive) before going on with troubleshooting.
Check the emergency brake pedal and the brake pedal, just to be sure.

take it to advance auto parts for a free computer check to see what engine code is being set. that is a good start. sounds like a MAP, MAF, O2, or even a TPS. let me know if this helps.

How is the pressure in the fuel rail? a low pressure will cause erratic firing of the injectors - the further down the rail u get usually the worse the problem. If the fuel filter was not changed regularly or if the vehicle stood for a while, dirty fuel/standing fuel at some time in the recent past, this **** will accumulate in tyhe injectors. To avoid spending a loada cash, swap a few injectors around and see if the problem moves with the injector.

hello it seems to me that it is the ecu unit on the car it is normally located near the battery as there is a computer in those sort of cars any more questions just ask
