My 06 Saturn ion only clicks when I try to start it

in the fuse box there is a flasher relay change that out also if you have set off the stock alarm on the car it may not be shut off all the way I would try disconnecting the battery and resetting the computer and check all the fuses to make sure one isn't bunt out

your battery maybe weak or the terminals of your battery are loose. check your battery charge and clean and tighten your battery terminals.

there is no power steering fluid on an 06 saturn ion...they are electronic power steering

Possibly loose or dirty battery connection

Tighten
Tighten the timing belt tensioner fastening nut to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

Verify the timing marks are still aligned.

Remove the J42069-10 and J42069-20.

Install the timing belt front cover. Refer to Timing Belt Cover Replacement-Front.

Connect the negative battery cable.Tighten
Tighten the battery terminal bolts to 17 N·m (13 lb ft)

The fuse box in the 06 ion is under the floor covering on the drivers side seat. Just move the seat all the way to the rear and then starting in the front near the pedals pull up the floor covering which is attached by velcro.
