I have a 1990 Honda accord ex auto. Every thing works but my right break light. I used a 1/4 inch bolt for the little hole on the break peddle where there was a little blue piece. Well my left break light works but yet my right break light doesn't I even bought new bulbs! Any ideas?

Sounds like the bulb socket is dead.

You either have a broken wire in the circuit or a short.

All i need is torque specs for 1990 honda accord 2.2 f22a 4 cyl. valve cover

Go on your computer in your browser and type in '1990 Honda Accord 2.2 4 cylinder head bolts torque specifications'. You will get back the engine bolt layout with the bolts numbered with the torque specs. You tighten the bolts according to the numbers of the bolts in the order starting with number 1 and working to the highest number.

My brake lights don't work and the bulbs are fine

You probably need to change your break switch. It is located under the dash. Your break pedal stem, when pushed down, hits the button to the break switch. It is usually chrome looking and looks like a small cylinder. If you need anything else, let me know. I am here to help. Thank you very much for choosing FixYa.

Need to know how to set the timing on a 1990 honda accord ex

Pop out the spark plug in number 1 cylinder. Drop a long 1/4" drive extension in the cylinder. Turn the crankshaft until the timing mark on the crank pulley meets "0" and the extension is at it's highest point of travel. This is your correct crank position for timing. Pop the cover off and find the indentation or arrow on the outside front of the cam sprocket and align it with the corresponding mark on the head or cam cap. If you're only talking about using a timing light, then lossen the distributor bolt at it's base and turn the distributor until the mark is at 0. Engine must be at normal operating temp.

Car brake lights won t turn off when car is shut down Honda accord lx 1992

Sounds like just a simple break light switch ajustment, the switch works off the break peddle arm, its not letting the plunger on the switch to release all the way out so break lights go off insted they stay on. If thats not the case than a new switch is in order.

Will not go into gear(manual)

Pretty good chance it's the clutch but check the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder for leaks (also line between). A drastic change often is caused by failure of either component...generally if clutch fails, it is a gradual process (similar to how a brake pad wears)

1990 honda accord ex..dim running lights

Dim lamps are ususally caused by a bad ground, however, first things first, have you replaced any tail light or signal bulbs lately? if so, there's your culprit - the wrong bulb or incorrectly installed, - otherwise, it is either a bad ground (Wiring diagram) or a bad lighting control module.

1990 Honda Accord EX Transmission

possibly due to low trans fluid pressure. the cooler in the radiator may be plugged. to check, disconnect and bypass cooler with rubber line & clamps. drive 2-3 miles. shifting OK now? install auxillary cooler to bypass one in radiator. you can get one at auto-zone $30-$50. may just need fluid & filter change, but more likely it's the cooler. when they get plugged, either one, pressure drops alot.
