I have 1995 Dodge Ram Van B1500, 5.2L v8. Recenlty, the car would not start. It would crank but would not turn over. I check the fuel and it was coming out, so I replaced the fuel pump assembly. A day later, it happend again, it would crank , but would not turn over. This time there were no spark and fuel injectors are not working either. I went through the basic check and messure voltage for Crankshaft & Camshaft sensor, they seems to be working. I though it might be the ASD Relay, so I replced it and but it was the same. Does anyone know how or what way to measure the signal that Crank sensor is receiving and sending it to the PCM?
Thanks
Mike
I am having the same exact issue with my 1995 dodge ram 1500 5.9L i have no spark at coil or no fuel injector pulse.... Im lost on what else to do myself i have changed the computer checked all the fuses and relays and wires... Someone please help its my only vehicle and i do not have any other way to work.... I have also changed the crank sensor and cam sensor 2 times and still nothing.... Someone please any info will be greatly thankful.... if it helps any a week before it did thiss it took me 30 mins to get it to crank one day then wen it started this it popped back one time and never ran again it also has a new timing chain also i checked 5 times to make sure its dead in time....
You need to use a LED type test light for the injectors or a Bosch style Noid light for the injector. To test the cam/crank sensor signal you either need a scanner to read them or a lab scope to show you a signal. The pickup plate in the dist handles the injector timing, the crank sensor provides a RPM signal. They both feed the computer information for ignition timing. Good fuel pressure, injector activity(Noid), and good spark out of the coil. The coil is what I replace the most of.

Thanks for the info. I've retested the Crank Sensor by checking ohm reading for terminal "B & C" and it did not give me any ohms. Replaced the Crank Sensor and it solved the problem.
Thanks
where is the crank sensor?
we tested it a while ago and it said crank shaft sensor or something like that.
my van does not turn over.
thank you
