wires get hot through either a bad connection or too much power being drawn through them, as for the heater blowing cold is there any hot water flowing through the heater check the pipes for the heater that pass through the bulk head
Disconnect wire to Air Conditioning Compressor and connect normal test light to wire, from engine harness(body)side. Fit new fuse and try air cond controls and switch, test light should light up and hopefully fuse wont blow indicating short in compressor clutch windings(replace compressor). If fuse blows while doing this test compressor might be ok and fault short some where else, fan speed resistor block, fan or control/switches, wiring.
Test the motor first, The wire to it is a hot positive wire and the motor's housing is the ground. If that works ok next check the resistor to see if its burnt out. Did you look at your fuses first?
check to see if AC and HEATER blower motor is getting power .if yes replace blower motor.if no you have problems in relay- fuse- or ac and heater switch is bad.for sun roof check for power at switch if yes sun roof eletric motor need replace.or sun roof in a bind.if no power to sun roof switch.blowed fuses and bulbs or turn signal switch is bad.
If the fan motor is blowingthen this is a sign that the fuse is good, if it's not then check the fuse, or you may need a new fan. as for not blowing heat it could be that the gate valve in the heater lines is stuc closed for some reason, or you could need a new thermostat. as for fuse slots 5 & 6 I am not really sure for your car as I would need to see the fuse panel and what accessories you have. Good luck and remember to rate all the solutions you get, thanx.
