The VDC OFF and SLIP lights up on my dash after driving a few minutes or so then at times the car will just die while in driving. Sometimes I go to hit the gas petal and the car wont accelerate. Ill turn it off and try to restart it and it wont turn over right away, seems like its not getting gas.

Turn the key without starting the engine, you should hear the fuel pump engage. Do this a few times to prime the engine. If it still doesn't start, spray "starting fluid", available at parts store, into your throttle body. It should start now.

2005 DX. Why doesn't it start?

How do you know it is not getting gas? Have you tested for fuel pressure? Does it have spark at the spark plugs? Have you checked for power to the fuel pump? Given that the engine has been replace make sure all the ground wires are attached and tight. I strongly suspect you have a loose ground wire somewhere.

I have a 93 GMC Suburban and I got it from my dad he replaced the fuel lines and put new fuel injectors in it and it ran fine I got it today and it ran great I went to play pool and she I came out my truck...

Were the new fuel lines the same size as the originals? What about bends in the lines? Is the line kinked (closed off) anywhere? Did he use a tubing bender to make all the bends rounded?

Engine dies when cold

All cars are sensitive to cold .it being a new car you can turn on the ignition for say 30sec to a min before cranking to allow the oxygen sensor heater to warm so it can read properly and will help in these conditions .also a new set of spark plugs can help too.

Jeep ran out of gas wont start now

low oil on some models will stop it from starting however I would say you have a fuel filter stoped up this happens sometimes when you run a car out of gas they pick up trash,

check all of the vaccum lines and the one behind the throttle body also try some STP gas treatment and if this helps replace your fuel filter also make sure you have at less a half tank of gas before you add the STP.
