SOURCE: Where can I get the remote control for Suzuki XL-7 DVD player

Had the same problem. My wife went to a car audio place and bought the wireless headphones, I think they were cheaper. And I just bought a universal remote from Radio Shack, its a Radio Shack brand little gray remote. It was 9.99. You have to use the "search for codes" option in the instructions. I can turn the tv on, off, stop, play, skip, all that stuff.

SOURCE: replace front wheel bearing 2006 suzuki forenza

Very easy. Pull the wheel off after lifting the car on the side you're fixing. ;) Then pull the big center nut off the spindle. It's got a safety smash down you will have to lift up that's in a grove on the shaft. You will see this once the wheel is removed. Unbolt that big nut then pull off the brake rotor. The bearings are in the brake rotor and the shaft the rotor was sitting on. Change them both and be back on your way. It's a 20 min job at most for a beginner.

the link shows all years, and variances.

here is a photo review, that is accurate up to
1998, and beyond , if you skip the bearing service parts. as yours are INTEGRATED
and NON-serviceable.

the photo 6a and B
shows removing the hub,
so do that , buy a new hub and put it back
the same way, using the tool stated
at the stated ranges of torque
123-180 ft/lbs.
this range allows you to get the screws into the locking rings.

How do you remove the cover of the rear differential on a 2004 Suzuki XL-7 all wheel drive

anon post. and posted at least 2 times now.
and all posts lack important facts
what are you doing? we dont know? rear Diff. something,
my guess, is you think a cover needs to be off (no it dont i bet)
the car has and FSM with all steps there, for each job, , the job
unstated by you, and my guess you are working book free. with no steps,to follow,?
(each axle on most cars have their own, methods. many there are)

ill post a rear axle photo
now a wild guess, the rear inboard axles flanges , you want off>? the DIFF? (note the clear, statement)
here are the FSM steps , all for that , do tell where you get lost

  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section.
  2. Raise vehicle and remove wheels.
  3. Drain front axle, or install catch pan under work area.
  4. Remove halfshaft wheel nut.
  5. Remove halfshaft flange nuts.
  6. Remove halfshaft assembly.
  7. Install slide hammer to axle flange and remove.
  8. Remove axle seal with seal removal tool.
  9. Remove snap ring.
  10. Install slide hammer with bearing removal adapter and remove axle bearing.
Im guessing step 10 is an issue, working with no slide hammer are you, a key tool in any shop.?
there is a great Utube vid, with a DIY (hillbilly) with a brick tied
to a rope, and using that as a real tool?

I get a loud squealing sound on my 2004 Suzuki XL 7 at about 60 plus MPH. Mechanic said compressor was showing some resistance, not free wheeling as it should. It still produces cold air.He said it could...

Yes, you can replace the electric clutch bearing. Problem being that you'll need to remove the AC compressor to do so. Meaning you'll have to recharge the system. You'll need a set of gages and a catch canister to put the Freon into and recycle it back to the unit when done. Your best off having a professional with all the AC tools to do this job. Even that is cheaper than replacement of the compressor. They can be quite expensive.

remove the wheel and firmly hold the hub that encloses the wheel bearing. Now see if you can rock the hub
If so the bearing is bad
You will need to remove the braking system first to gain access to remove the hub assembly
the bolts are on the back side which is 3 of them

Replace front wheel bearings. The right front brake disc has a very slight wobble in it. My mechanic suggested replacing the front wheel bearings. How do I do it?

Its pretty simple.
1. take off wheel
2. take off brake caliper, caliper bracket, and rotor.
3. remove axle nut which secures axle into the bearing
4. should be 3 bolts on the flange which hold the whole wheel bearing/hub unit on.
5. reverse for reassembly

The wheel hub and bearing are all one assembly and are bout as a unit.
