Question about 1996 Subaru Legacy
I can't tell which way the straps that are used to release the seats go. Do the straps go in towards the interior of the car or the trunk? I've tried pulling the strap from the trunk, but it doesn't seem to want to release. The other strap is stuck above the stop of the seat somewhere. Both of the lock switches for the seat backs in the trunk are unlocked.

The seat release straps are normally pulled from inside the car. if you need to fish out the missing strap i recommend using a rubber door stopper to make a gap so you can find and hook the strap with say a metal clothes hanger
