Question about 2005 GMC Sierra Denali
I noticed when I went to unlock my truck, key-less remote wouldn't work. Also nothing on my steering wheel will operate nothing. So I was tracing down the fuses and the TBC (10 amp) fuse is blown. Went to replace it and barely got it in and it blew again. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Really can't afford to take to a shop.

There is mounting brackets that hold the column in place, These brackets are either missing screws/bolts or are worn out and need replacing. Some times these brackets have replaceable plastic shims that wear out. It's also possible that you can place either a plastic or rubber homemade shim into worn brackets to take out the play.

Sounds to me like you may need a new rectifier put in the alternator,a shorted diode in the alternator could be powering up things that should go dead with the key in the off position. To prove this, instead of pulling the fuse, take the plug out of the alternator and if all is well, you have your answer.
