Can 2001 dodge Dakota doors fit on a 1996 dodge Dakota?

No. 1996 was the last of the first generation Dakotas. 2001 is a second generation model, and the body style is quite different.

2001 dodge dakota 3.9l 4x4 slt headlights don't neither headlights work but make a buzzing noise when they are turned on, also the four wheel drive stopped working at the same time.

You seem to have a short circuit, or bad circuit breaker. Most newer trucks use breakers instead of fuses for high amp circuits. Could you have run over something which tore a wire under in part of the 4 WD circuit? Pull fuses/breakers one at a time and try again until you find the one which kills the noise, then repair that circuit.

The body control module seems to be the culprit here. Have it tested or replaced.

4x4 issue could be either the TCCM Transfer Case Control Module, or the transfer case shift motor.

When you turn your dash switch from 2wd to 4HI, can you hear the shift motor underneath operating?

Electrical problem

I just had the same issues. No headlights, interior lights, power door locks, radio controls on steering wheel, or dash lights. Pulled every fuse in cab and under hood, not a one was bad. I disconnected the battery terminals for a few minutes. When I reconnected them every thing was working.

Electrical problem

It turned out that disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it reset the control module and fixed the problem.

Headlight switch?

It's possible it's the headlight switch, but I would suspect the central timing module (CTM), Chrysler's version of the BCM for 2003. It's located behind the kick panel to the left of the driver's feet, and is held in by three screws. Replacements (used/rebuilt but most warranteed) are available on eBay at
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.X2003+dakota+ctm.TRS0&_nkw=2003+dakota+ctm&_sacat=6000

Get the part number from yours, and ensure you get the same part NUMBER, suffix letters may vary (especially the last letter). Make sure you are NOT getting a BASE version (marked on the part number label) if you have power door locks, etc.
