There are a number of things that could be wrong. You need to scan your onboard computer system to retrieve the fault code that was stored when the computer turned the light on. Without the fault code, it would be anybody's guess.
Also note that you will have to access your suspension control module/antilock brake control module to check this. Most generic OBD code readers cannot perform this function. (Including the ones that are used as sales tools at the local parts store)
