Taillights and dashlights wont work

maybe the fuse?

GOOD ADVISE--I ALSO LEARNED THAT THERE MAY BE FUSES IN UNDER THE HOOD ALSO. FOUND OUT TODAY THAT IF THE DOME LIGHT DON'T WORK THEN IT'S FUSE COULD BE BLOWN AND HINDER THE CIRCUIT TOO. I'M NOT GOOD ON VOLTAGE READING , BUT DO HAVE A TEST LIGHT. IF NO FIRE AT THE COMMON TAIL LIGT-DASH LIGHT FUSE , THEN THAT MIGHT NARROW IT DOWN. I HAD THE SAME TROUBLE IN MY 1990 FORD XLT LARIAT AND WAS BLOWING THE TAILLIGHT FUSE. IT WAS A SHORT IN THE EXTERNAL TRAILER KIT HARNESS WHICH CAUSED FUSES TO BLOW REGUARLY. WHERE IS RELAY FOR TAILIGHTS AND OTHER FUSES UNDER THE HOOD??

Might be in the switch.....this could cause that problem. hope this helps and if so Please leave rating on this post and good luck.

YOU HAVE SEVERAL PLACES one fuse box under dash driver side you also have some under hood relays may have 2 check fuses under dash 1st if not those check more under hood drivers side look for black box on driver front fenderwell

you have fuses under the hood just forward at the air flow box.you also have fuses under the instrument panel on the left side behind the driver knee protector.

Ok, first off, check the fuses under the dash. If they're all good, does the blower work only on high speed? If yes, then you have a bad blower motor resistor, which is located under the hood, near the blower motor itself. If the motor doesnt work at all at any fan speed, make sure the wiring harness that plugs into the motor under the hood is clean and tightly installed. If it still doesnt operate, sometimes tapping on the blower motor housing will kick it on, but if that doesnt work, you may have to replace the blower motor. They are available aftermarket, and arent usually too expensive.

First, check to make sure the light switch is in the "auto" position.
Second, check the under hood fuse center. There are 2 fuses in that fuse box, one for the right and one for the left tail lights.
Remove the fuses and make sure they are not blown.

In battery junction box or the under hood fuse panel check fuse no 11(15amp),it will be at the center of the fuse box where there is 4 fuse slots but looks like only 3 fuses, if this fuse in good then you will see a relay that is shaped kinda like a cross.This is the parklamp relay which also powers the dash lights.

fuse under the dash and under the hood but if fuses are good you may just have a bad blower motor check the wires on the blower motor first for connection before replacing
