1995 Honda Accord CODE problem

I am a 3rd party owner of a 1995 Honda Accord EX. The other day my car died and when i jumped it the stereo read CODE and would not work. I do not have an owners manual, nor does the stereo have a legible serial number. I called the original place of sale and the service tech told me I need to buy a new stereo, because he does not have the information on file. Does anyone out there have any advice as to what I should do. The tech mentioned getting online and asking anyone if they have random codes. ANY HELP will assist me!

Ask about, you can get radio's recoded at many places. Ask your local auto spares supplier, that would be my first port of call.

The battery in my 2004 honda accord died. I got a jump and now the stereo won't operate and the clock just flashes. What do I do?

You have to put in the code for the radio, it is usually on a card in your owners manual. whenever you replace a battery, or disconnect it the code has to be entered. same thing happened to me.

My battery was dead in my honda accord and know i need to unlock my car stereo.

UnfortunatelyHONDA codes are only available from the Main Dealer or by using a Radio Decoding Service who will connect a laptop to read the working code inside your radio`s memory chip (EEPROM)

1995 Accord Radio reads CODe. Suggestions?

I had the same issue with mine. Call a dealer, they will ask for a number that's on the back or maybe the top of the stereo. They will also need proof that the car isn't stolen and is actually your's before they will give you the code to unlock it. Hope this helps.

Honda car stereo

I won a 2004 Honda Civic.
I had a bad battery and my car would not start. I had someone jump start it and it now has a new battery. The car runs fine but the stereo will not play am/fm or CD's. Regardless of what I do I get an "Error E code"

Please help.
