Heck the blower fan speed control resistor, it is located near the blower motor, they are cheap to replace and the most common cause of this issue

SOURCE: 1995 chevy blazer heat, ac will not blow air

yes the heater controls are vacum however the blower motor is not. a new control panel is an option and may fix it. if it was my blazer i would first check the fuse boxes onder the hood and in the side of the dash driver side. if they are good i would go to the nearest auto parts store and buy a test light. this will aid you in making sure what the problem is before you go spending money on replacement parts. the blower motor is in one of two places. its most likely under the dash on the passenger side. there is a cover that you will have to remove directly under the glove box. once removed you should see a large red and a large black wire. these are the power and ground for the blower motor . in some gm's these wires go into a resistor. the harness plugs into the resistor and the blower motor wires come out of it. ok now that we are a little bit familiar with our suroundings the red wire i told you about is the hot wire if you ground the clamp on the test light to the door hindge. (make sure its a good ground by touching the positive batter terminal. if the test light lights its a good ground )now unplug the blower motor and touch the metal posts in the end of the plug that belong to the red wire. if it lights when the key is on and the blower control is on in all posisions you need a blower motor. if it does not then you need a blower motor resistor.

SOURCE: 1998 BMW 328i heater/AC blower is not running

You have clean the blower unit , may be its dirty then . and then check the blower resistor unit for malfunction.

SOURCE: The blower works blowing only cold air no heat? I

The heat is generated by a radiator located in your dash using engine coolant. You don't have heat because the valve that is controlling the coolant flow is closed - either it or the commands that is controlling it are broken - find which and fix them.

Testimonial: "Is this valve easily accessible? How do you keep it open? Commands, is that computer realted?"

SOURCE: No heat coming out fan blows but no heat

you could have air trapeed in the cooling system. If so, go to shop with evac/fill equipment to burp the air.

ALso, feel the heater hose going into the heater core and out of the heater core. They should be hot. They are about 1 inch round and go into the firewall behind the engine.

Is the engine temperature normal? If not, replace the thermostat.

I assume you have electronic system since you said you push a button. Perform this test and get codes

  1. If inspection reveals obvious concern(s) that can be readily identified, service as required. If the concern(s) remains after the inspection, perform the following EATC On-Board Diagnostic:
  1. NOTE: If sent to this section from Section 18-04, perform the EATC On-Board Diagnostic, record any or all diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).

    • The EATC On-Board Diagnostic will detect concerns in the system control functions found during the On-Board Diagnostic and will display (DTCs) in addition to intermittent (DTCs) for concerns that occur during system operation. The vehicle interior temperature should be between 16° and 27°C (60° F and 80° ) F when performing the On-Board Diagnostic. If the temperatures are not within the specified ranges, false in-car temperature sensor error codes will be displayed. Record all error codes displayed during the test.
    • If any (DTCs)appear during the On-Board Diagnostic, follow the diagnostics procedure given under ACTION for each DTC given.
    • If a condition exists but no (DTCs) appear during the On-Board Diagnostic, refer to the Symptom Chart Condition: EATC System Inoperative, Intermittent or Improper Operation .
    • The On-Board Diagnostic can be initiated at any time with any resulting DTCs displayed. Normal operation of the system stops when the On-Board Diagnostic is activated.
    • To enter the On-Board Diagnostic, press the OFF and FLOOR buttons simultaneously and then press the AUTOMATIC button within two seconds. The display will show a pulse tracer going around the center of the display window. The test may run as long as 30 seconds.
    • To exit On-Board Diagnostic and retain DTCs, push the blue (cooler) button. The control will exit On-Board Diagnostic, retain all DTCs and then turn OFF (display blank).
    • To exit On-Board Diagnostic and clear all DTCs, press Defrost button. The vacuum fluorescent display window will show 000 and all function symbols for one second. Then, the EATC Control will turn OFF (display blank) and all DTCs will be cleared.
The On-Board Diagnostic should be deactivated before powering the system down (system turned OFF). Intermittent DTCs will be deleted after 80 ignition switch ON cycles after the intermittent condition occurs.

My AC some times blows cool air with good pressure but most of the time blows air with low pressure. I have checked the AC pipe also. Its cool.

I'm wondering if it's NOT the AC but the blower fan, how does the heat side blow? if it's good on all blower settings then, it's more than likely your blender door is not opening and closing all the way. When the blender door stays open a little bit it'll let warmer outside air mix with the cold AC air causing it not to be as cold as it should.

Ac fan not working, ac is cold but fan won't blow air into cab...

check the fan itself to see if it works. check the heater fuse first! if all is ok, you probably have a bad heater fan resistor. to check blower, please go here on pc for info on blower. .cargurus.com/Cars/Discussion-t16272_ds569146

My sc1 over heats when at idle and only if ac or heat is turned off as soon as i turn onn ac heat drops imediately

you may want to check on the radiator fan. The AC has its own fan and once AC is on, the fan would help bring down the temperature. It is either the fan is not blowing or has become weak. You can check on the fan by pulling out the temp sensor on the lower radiator hose. The fan should blow at full speed when doing this.

Check on the water reserve the water inside it goes down, if not there may be a leak somewhere. Water vapor may be escaping and lessening the effectiveness of the cooling system. This may be a reason why the engine cools down after the AC fan is on.
