I have a chevy s10 that all of the sudden the turn signals stop working. Hazard light flasher works fine. Unplug the turn signal relay from the fuse box and start you engine. Does it still make that noise? If yes... Put the relay back in, that is not the problem. If No...Then the relay could be bad, replace it!

I had a 1987 s10 4x4 and put a new battery in it and the 4x4 quit. turns out the vacuum control is right behind battery. listen for sucking sound and see if it is loose on yours.
under the dash near the steering column will be a unit called the electronic flasher module (don't know exact location as it varies, but it will be labeled). It sounds like the unit has gone bad
the popping sound is the stabilizer links or the lower control arm bushings you can replace all bushings and both link kits for around 50.00 and the light is prob from the sensor on the transfer case or the front end i would remove and clean with dawn dishwashing liquid and put them back.
have you checked, cady, fuel tank, is it getting the right amount of gas and air? plugs and wires, go with general mantinence first then step up. i have a 85 s10 blazer that was a lemon off the lot but has over 300000 on it and it has the same prob i fix it tempurary by flipping the lid on the breather upside down so it gets more air
