Won't start after it warms up.

I have a 1994 s320 that recently had a broken keyway. The car would start, but nothing would move. So I took it apart and noticed oil caked on the hole block apparenly this work had been done before. I removed the hole front, but never toched the chain or moved it. Replace the harmonic balancer and keyway cleaned everything up and put it back together, but now it starts when its cold & once it warms up theirs no way it will start unless its being gassed. So now im kinda stuck, I think its the fule pressure regulator but I dont know. Can anyone help?

My shift knob won't move

WITH INFO YOU ARE PROVIDING CLUTCH MIGHT NOT BE COMPLETELY DISENGUAGING CAUSING A STIFF OR DIFFICULT SHIFT. CHECK BY PUTTING VEHICLE ON FLAT GROUND ENGINE OFF. GET INTO 1ST GEAR. THEN PUSH IN CLUTCH AND START CAR WITH BRAKE OFF IF CAR STARTS ROLLING THEN CLUTCVH IS STILL TRYING TO GRAB. THEN ADJUST THE CLUTCH PER VEHICLE SPECS.

Blowing cold air

This could be a few things.Try the easiest first. With the engine warmed up,the heater core hoses should both be warm(shows water flowing through core)If you have electronic controls, the cold/hot door is controlled by a servo motor(similar to the servos in a remote controlled car toy)These will not move/function if one wire is broken(saw a few GM products do this)Also remember a neigbor's Jeep that had a stuck motor, careully took the servo apart, and lubed the motor to unstick it).Manual or vacuum controls are pretty basic, just figure out where the cold hot door is.

My lights, windows, and radio all work fine. But it won't start it makes a click noise but nothing. Then we thought it was the battery so we jumped it and now it won't even make no click noise at...

The "click" sound condition make us guess that could be a bad ignition switch or starter.

It turned out to be the starter. I first took the battery to have it tested and it was fine. Next, I took the starter apart and took it to Autozone to have it tested? and it was bad. It is not easy access to remove the starter. The intake manifold and exhaust system are in the way and need to be taken apart first. See instructions below:

- Take off Intake

- Take off Starter

Hope this helps (remember to rating this answer and leave some comment).

02 hyundai santa fe died abruptly driving down the highway and wont restart the engine cranks but won't start it is the v-6 model

Never seen a big engined petrol one of these ,diesel manuals yes plenty abound ,but this year model on the diesel anyway suffers from a crankshaft keyway problem and it wears away allowing the front pulley and timing gear to move allowing the pistons to hit the valves ,now later models had a deeper keyway as a remedy but yours is a 2002 and this could suffer the same problem as the diesels. So check the timing marks first before you change this and that ,V6 petrol ?? try paying 7 dollars a gallon and then say if the diesel isnt the best for economy

My 94 volvo GL die on me on the road. Took it to the mechanic and call me next morning that nothing is wrong. It start right quick. Couples days later will not start. Took it to the dealer for diagnostic...

Have the dealer look for soft codes and to check the connections to the starter and the battery and to check the alternator for proper charging. Volvo alternators have a circuit inside of them that when it goes bad it will cause the car to stop running without warning.

The key for the central pulley on my 1994 Legacy has broken. Can this be fixed without removing the engine? If so, can you tell me how?

i presume that you mean the crankshaft keyway, really when this damages, the tolerance is wrecked and the crank needs to be repaired and remachined, or failure will happen really fast...
