2005 Chevy Tahoe Trailer Running Lights Out

I have a Tahoe which the trailer running lights stopped working. The turn and stop lights still work fine. I can't find a fuse for the trailer running/marker lights, although I can find the trailer stop and turn fuses clearly. I've checked both fuse boxes several times to no avail. This vehicle has the stock Chevy harness and plug.

I've tried a different adapter with the same results. Anyone know where the trailer marker light fuse is, and what it is labeled?

Depending on what type of trailer you have, a blown lightbulb on one marker could kill them all (like the old Christmas light strings). Look at those, and make sure your ground is good.

Trailer wiring

Trailer wiring uses the fuses for the car lights. Turn signal, running ans brake lights. Some plugs also charge the trailer battery if so wired. Check the ground wire for a good body connection. This wire often gets overlooked and can stop all trailer lights if it fails.

Running lights and marker lights on trailer stopped working. Brake and turn signals work. Which fuse # or relay # needs to be replaced.

Wiring 4 way flat trailer plug. brown wire running

you got brown for running parking light
green for right turn/stop
yellow for left turn/stop
white for ground
reverse lights are only wired on a 6 or 7 plug connector
make sure you on the dark green for right turn stop not the light green
the light green is for reverse

The basic 4-flat trailer wiring colors are as follows.
Yellow-Left turn/Stop, Green- Right turn/Stop, Brown-Running Lights and White-Ground
7-way trailer wiring colors are as follows.
Yellow-Left turn/Stop, Green- Right turn/Stop, Brown-Running Lights, White-Ground, Red or Black-auxiliary power, Blue-Trailer Brakes and Purple-Reverse lights

I have a 2004 Chev Suburban and my trailer running lights do not work but the stop and singnal lights do. Can this be a fuse issue and if so what fuse runs the running lights?

There is a fase under the hood marked trailer tail lights,it is a 15amp fuse and if continues to blow ther is a problem in the trailer wireing or the plug on the trailer.

I actually have three issues electrically with my 2005 Envoy XUV. The most important one is the running lights. First the running light feed to the trailer connection ( factory installed ) fed no power to...

1) Look for fuse 32 in underhood fuse panel, I believe this is for trailer lights. 50 & 51 are for R and L trailer brake.
2) The blower resistor pack is defective, this is located behind the glovebox and mounted to the blower body.
3) I have no solution for tailgate problem, suggest visiting Trailvoy.com forum and doing search on XUV tailgate.

Possible corrosion break in the Vehicle Trailer Plug.
