Air bag light will not go off

2004 volkswagon beetle convertible air bag light stays on

  • dinodc66 Mar 24, 2009

They changed some sensor and even the front passenger side-impact airbag. Still have the problem and they want me to bring it back next week when the mechanic comes back. Glad we bought that extended warranty! Oh, we have the 2005 New Beetle Turbo Convertible

I've had mine to the dealer 2 times to reset the light....its still on!

How do I turn off airbag light

DO NOT TURN IT OFF! It is indicating that there is possibly something wrong with your airbag deployment system. Get to a certified (where air bags are concerned) mechanic and have it checked out. PLEASE, do it SOON!

Srs light stays on drivers safety belt assy. replaced still we have light

The warning light usually means the system is disabled and there is a problem with one of the air bags or a sensor. You would need to get the system checked for trouble codes to proceed.

How do you change a low beam headlight on a 2004 volkswagon beetle convertible?

Underneath the hood there is a black lever pull up on the lever to release the headlight assembly.the headlight will slide out of the front of the vehicle, once its out youll see the metal clip that holds the bulb in place. It may take slight force to get the lever to release the assembly.

A/c went pop and hot air started pouring out.

Possibly compressor belt broken. Maybe sudden loss of coolant gas. Fix bad part and recharge.

Beetle Convertible window problem

My wife's car is a 2004 convertible. We had the same problem. There is a switch built into the door latch assembly. Whenever you pull either the interior or exterior door handle, the switch lowers the door glass a certain amount.

We replaced the door latch assembly and that corrected the problem.
