That could be a bad motor or limit switch. this can be diyifnyou have a vom and then you just need to check power to the motor. if the power isngood then its a limit ornsafety switch.

Thanks Mr Dave, where is the limit switch located? and also as I mentioned before that the door clicks open and moves for about half an inch, but it dose not slide open so i think power comes to the motor, do you think the motor is not strong enough to slide the door? and how can i check the limit swich?
    Thanks for you help,

There will be a switch inside the motor and one safety limit in the track. I would check the motor and the track first. The track should be clear and undamaged. If you disconnect the motor/actuator the door should open very easily by hand. If it does that then i,I'd look at the motor/actuator as being the problem. If you put power to it on the bench it should operate easily and smoothly. If it stalls or runs slow then you have your guilty party and will have to replace or get a electric motor shop to repair.

I will ask you again if there is any questions.
    Thank you,

You have a sticking fuel door lock-device. Look to see if the tab is in the down position.

SOURCE: 2005 Toyota Sienna XLE - Automatic sliding door not closing.

This may or may not work depending on exactly what is wrong with the door, I cant tell what is wrong without looking at it directly however:
You can try starting with all doors closed and unlocked, keys in hand disconnecting the battery and letting the vehicle sit for 2 min or so, then reconnect the battery. Put the key into the ignition and turn it to the on position but do not start the van. Next press the button to disable the power sliding door for the drivers side, then manually open the door fully, wait 5 seconds, then close it manually fully. Press button the button again to re-enable the power sliding door, then try to use it with the automatic feature either by pulling the handle or using your remote, this may or may not work depending on if the door has somehow become de-initialized (it should work now) however if something is broken inside the door closing mechanism or door closed/open sensors, the door will continue to malfunction.

SOURCE: the sliding door on my 2004 toyota sienna won't close

Try this.....Find the latch on the door, stick your finger in the hole, lift up and pull the door handle at the same time, the inside latch mechanism should go up, then try the door again. It would be nice if that's all it was huh? Sometimes they stick when they get too cold. If this works for you....spray it with some WD-40 or graphite. Hope this worked for you. Cheaper than the 2000.00 motor!

Check for sticking mechanism. See if the Owner's Manual mentions LUBRICATING the door. Buy some graphite or teflon-type lubricating liquid to apply to mechanism. And I'd NOT use the electronic button until you get this fixed as you may burn-out / wear-out the motor prematurely.

2000 Toyota Sienna power sliding door is jammed shut. Any solution?

Open the inside panel of the door by popping off the little white clips holding it on. The cable connected to the inside release button is either caught on something or has come lose. Check out this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MkC2OiOiE_U

See if power reaches the motor. If it does and motor does not operate you have found the problem. If no power then the issue is electrical in nature and you will have to trace the current flow to the motor.

Power door is not delatching

there is a door lock actuator that has failed, it releases the latches so the door can open. you need to remove the door panel. unbolt the window and tape it as to hold the window up then remove the window regulator assembley then unbolt the lock actuator from the back side.

Sounds like something isn't right.Try to disconnect the battery for a few minutes and see if that helps. Some times the ecu gets haywired and disconnecting the battery might reset it.And if it is the original battery you might want to get it tested.
