There are products available at your auto parts store that are designed to polish your headlights back to the original sheen.

SOURCE: passenger side headlight only works on high beam.

If you put it in; did you touch the bulb with your fingers? If so, I've seen bulbs pop as soon as they're put in. The oil from your skin leaves a residue, and the heat goes to it, and blows the bulb. wear jersey or latex gloves when you re-install new bulb. If it still doesn't work, replace headlight bulb socket

I startup engine, then, turned headlights. The headlights had been on about 2 seconds, then, both headlights were suddenly off. High beam lights are ok. Today, I went to AutoZone and changed new fuse (15a)...

Maybe the low beam of both headlights blew up. Headlight bulbs have 2 coils, 1 for high beam and 1 for low beam. Just like a regular light bulb, when the coil breaks the light doesn't work. But the high beams are still ok. If you've never changed em, 8 years come around its probably around time to replace them. If you can, see if you can remove the bulbs. It's pretty easy, for most cars its just locate where the lights are located under the hood, then turn the headlight bulb housing counter clockwise and should pull out. inspect it for any broken coils. if you need to replace both, get the part number or take it to a parts store and ask an employee for help. If you reinstall it yourself, be sure not to let your fingers touch the new bulb. if you do, clean it with rubbing alcohol before you put it back in the housing.

2002 honda civic Day time running warning on change bulbs check

High beams dont go on at all? Does the DRL light dissapear when u turn on the headlights? Now, because your high beams dont work, it more likely means that you need to replace your bulbs. Because if it would be a problem in the car itself, only the DRL system would fail. Im 80% sure that changing your bulbs will solve the problem.

I have a 2003 PT Cruiser and I need to replace the low beams on both sides. Is this something I can do?

no you will have to replace the bulbs as you cannot replace just the low beams, the low and high beams are both located within the same actual bulb, you can replace the bulbs yourself, refer to your owners manual to find instructions on the proper procedures for this...

When I replace those high beams to xenon lights, I opened a bit front fender splash shield and bend shield so that I had access to head beam.

Lights won't go on high beam

If the switch clicks I would try a new headlamp. I have seen numerous times when both bulbs burnt out.. I also belive their is a fuse for just the high beam on the PT cruiser
