If you are having problems with starting during humid weather, might want to check your spark plug wires and distributor, if you do not have electronic ignition system.
Based on the description you give, most likely it is not the starter. When you turn the key, does your engine turn over ? If yes, then you can rule out the starter. If no, then with the help of someone have them turn over the key and check for power at the starter and see if you are getting power to starter and solenoid.
When say wont crank..Do you mean it will turn over but not start,,or do you mean it wont even turn over..I work on 6.0 liters all the time,,and you really need a scanner to see if your FICM has gone bad or other electronics...Plus your high pressure oil pump could have went out..They dont really give you much warning on them engines when something goes out..
check your ht leads try turning the engine over in the dark looking under the bonnet to see any sparking on ht leads get someone to turn over the engine while you look if you see sparking chang the leads they have cracked
