Check to see if you are getting voltage to the blower motor if you are the motor is bad if not check the fan speed switch. 1 2 3 or low medium high if you get voltage going to the switch but not from replace the switch if you have voltage from switch check the blower motor resistor the although with the blower resistor you commonly have a high fan speed in the max setting and the lower speed settings don't work wich would make you think 1 2 3 are not working but 4 is. That is why it is best to check all parts to make sure the part you do replace needed to be replaced

Try making a new small ground for your brake light on the back of your car.test to see which side is hot and wich side is ground,on the ground side just put a wire between the metal light assembly and the body where it sits.Good Luck
Try replacing the batteries in the key. Does the remote central locking work o.k. The switches themselves do fail and you must replace them. The only other item that can be faulty is the immobilizer ring wich reads the key signal and sends it to the switch. I would clean the key lens and replace the batteries. If problem still exists replace the immobilizer ring. These type of problems can be expensive to diagnose.
The truth is you have three options to fixing your multifunctional switch, you can either replace for a brand new one wich will run you about $250 or you can find one at a salvage yard wich will cost you $50 Well what if it doesn't work? Most salvage yards have a seven day return policy so its really not a big deal just get a different one, you can also usually go out to the yard and pick out wich one out of wich vehicle, sometimes they have the keys to the vehicles as well so you can turn the car on to see how many miles are on it to determine how used the switch might be. or you can also clean it wich costs almost nothing! So how do i clean it? Its actually quite simple heres the steps
1. Turn Car off and make sure stearing wheel is perfectly straight so that the wheels line up straight!
2. adjust your stearing column to its lowest setting, lever should be under the stearing wheel or behind the left multifunctional switch wich is what you will be cleaning
3. Then place your pointer fingers into the circle slots of both switches( turn signal/windshieldwasher) place thumbs on top and give a nice upward pull should pop right off
4. Next you will see a black piece of plastic, use a five point screw driver to remove single blk bolt
5. Go ahead and unplug both of the connecters on the back side of the blk piece of plastic
6. Next go ahead and use a star head screw driver and remove the 3 or four silver screws
7. after doing so go ahead and lift the multifunctional switch out/ then use rubbing alcohol and clean off the two points of connection wich look like to little pieces of sheet metal touching each other and after doing that simple put back together and you should be set to go! Takes about 20 to thirty minutes if you take your time! Beats paying $250!!
sometimes vehicles are equipped with an inertia switch wich means that when you hit something or the car has a big impact, that switch will shut off the fuel pump...
i know for a fact that on ford models they are located in the trunk on the right side...
you should check for that first and if you have one just press the button to reset...
there are only 4 wires going to your signals take your signal lever out and look at the color of the wires and then take yoiur tail lamp out and check the colors that shoiuld tell you wich wire goes where. but if you need to run wires just run them from your lamps to your steering colom and there should be a switch there with one hot wire! it should have 2 nipples o it and just connect to the npples and flip the switch to check wich side is wich and adjust!
