What could cause the whistling? When going over 50 miles per hour the van starts whistling/squealing loud enough that I can hear inside. The faster I go the noisier it gets. The next day the transmission acts up. It does not get in gear and or the gas pedal falss to the floor. This is remedied when I used the traction control button

Hello! There is a Technical Service Bulletin; TSB 06-14-10 for this vehicle that addresses water entering the Power Train Control Module (PCM...computer) or Transaxle vent which will cause transmission problems...A fix for this problem is available at your dealership...Your vehicle does have an electronic shift transmission...Which is controlled by the PCM...No individual fuse powers the digital shift circuit...It powers the PCM...If a fuse were blown the vehicle would not start...

I had the front left wheel bearing changed and it did change anything, on top fo this The next day after this whistle/squeal is heard the transmission acts up. It does not get in gear and or the gas pedal falls to the floor. This is remedied when I used the traction control button but it's worrysome.
