Locked car radio - Voyager Chrysler Cars & Trucks

You have to either contact the dealership..
.. or search on ebay for 'radio codes' .. which you will have to buy

The radio has to be reprogrammed at the dealer if it is locked - the screen will say - locked. Your problem is likely a failed radio if only one side doesn't work.

Call the manufacturer for help!

your radio is shorted to your door lock circuit
take your car to an auto electrician as the repair is complex

This is just a guess, but try disconnecting the battery cables for a few minutes, then reconnect them and see if you can correct it.

You will need to contact your local dealer with the Vin number of your truck & possibly the make of your radio. When a radio locks the dealer has the code to unlock the radio, just give them a call & you should have your radio working in no time.

let me see if I can re-state this. I may be able to help. Your battery died and you started the car with a jump from another car or battery charger, and now the radio is "locked". Have you every "locked" the radio before? Does the radio come on?, If you can answer these couple of questions for me we might be able to get you an answer. Thanks, Bill

check the radio wiring

Leave the radio on for one hour and the radio will reset. Works on all locked Mitsubishi radios. Dont go opening up the radio for no reason....

You have to have the car on and the radio on for one hour. Then the off display will disappear and you can turn the radio on and get the code display once again. Careful, you only have three tries.
