Location of oil drain plug on 2003 montero sport

You will have to get under the vehicle and find the oil pan directly under the engine. On the oil pan you will locate the bolt to drain the oil pan. They usually are at the lowest point on the oil pan so that all the oil is drained from the pan when removed.

Can only find 1 bolt to remove the starter in my 2001 mitsubishi montero sport. where are both bolts?

It's there you just need to get at the right angle to see it, the bolt you most likely can't see if the one between the starter body and the starter solenoid on top. See picture below.

Cant find where to put transmission fluid in 2000 mitsubishi monterro sport 4x4 automatic

Take a look at the transmission oil pan. If you see two drain plugs than you have the trans without the dipstick. One of the plugs is actually the drain plug. The other one is the fill plug. More often than not When you go to remove the fill plug the nut on the inside of the pan breaks free from the pan casing the plug to just turn. The norm is to have to replace the pan anytime a service or fill is needed. If you have the trans with a dipstick than you can add the fluid through the dipstick tub with a small funnel.

How do i change the alternator on a 1998 mitsubishi montero sport

Disconnect the battery negative cable.
Remove 12mm (3) and 14mm (4) bolts holding skidplate on and remove skidplate
Loosen the 14mm nut on the tensioner, then unscrew the tensioner adjuster bolt until the belt can slide off.
Unplug the alternator electrical connector.
Unbolt the alternator cable lug (12mm or 13mm depending on alternator manufacturer)
Remove lower 12mm bolt
Remove upper 14mm pivot bolt
Use large screwdriver to pry alternator off bracket, it pinches on when the pivot bolt is tightened.
Drop alternator out bottom of engine bay; helps to unbolt or bend transmission cooler lines out of the way.
