SOURCE: starts then it shuts off

Take the battery to Sears or another large auto parts store and ask them to check the condition of the battery. They do it for free. Other than that the ignition switch could be worn out. Not the key, the electric switch.

How to fix 2003 Dakota 3.7L. Code P0001 Generic. Fuel pressure control circuit open. Thanks

Code P0001 is your fuel pressure regulator on your fuel injection rail on your engine. There is Cause and Effect. That said, it could be that the regulator is bad but it could be that another component is affecting the regulator. You may want to send it in for diagnostics. Otherwise you could be replacing a part that is ok. There is a fuel filter that is serviceable inside the gas tank. I would suspect a leaking fuel line, fuel injector, worn out fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator. Feel free to write back if there is anything else.

DTC P0191: Fuel Rail Pressure (FRP) Sensor Performance
The fuel rail pressure (FRP) sensor has a 5-volt reference circuit, a signal circuit, and a low reference circuit. The engine control module (ECM) monitors the voltage on the FRP sensor circuits. When the fuel pressure is high, the signal voltage is high. When the fuel pressure is low, the signal voltage is low. The fuel pressure regulator has a solenoid supply voltage circuit and a solenoid control circuit. The ECM controls the fuel pressure regulator , which regulates high pressure fuel that goes to the fuel injector rails and the injectors.

1996 Dodge B2500 fuel problem. Fuel pump OK. Getting P0001 code(Fuel Volume Regulator Control Circuit/Open).

if that is the code then replace the pressure regulator
it is not allowing pressure to be maintained at the correct operating pressure (50-65 psi) all of your stated problem will occur

My husband scan our 2006 Cadillac SRX and the code reads fuel pressure regulator. Can you tell me if where this parts located. I appreciate your answer. Thanks

What DTC ? P0000 what , What engine 3.6 or 4.6 L Need more info if you would like help .
The fuel pressure regulator attaches to the fuel return pipe on the fuel sender assembly. The fuel pressure regulator is a diaphragm-operated relief valve. A software bias compensates the injector on-time because the fuel pressure regulator is not referenced to manifold vacuum. The injector pulse width varies with the signal from the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor.
With the engine running at idle, the system fuel pressure at the pressure test connection should be between 380-410 kPa (55-60 psi). With the system pressurized and the pump OFF the pressure should stabilize and hold. If the pressure regulator supplies a fuel pressure which is too low or too high, a driveability condition will result.

Where is fuel pump relay on 2009 gmc acadia

Your vehicle has no fuel pump relay . Has a fuel pump flow control module .
Fuel Pump Flow Control Module (FPCM)
The fuel pump flow control module (FPCM) is a serviceable GMLAN module. The FPCM receives the desired fuel pressure message from the engine control module (ECM) and controls the fuel pump located within the fuel tank to achieve the desired fuel pressure. The FPCM sends a PWM signal to the fuel pump, and pump speed is changed by varying the duty cycle of this signal.
Plus it has two fuel pumps !
The high pressure fuel pump (9) is a mechanical one cylinder design driven by an eccentric on the exhaust camshaft (1) of bank 2. High pressure fuel is regulated by the fuel rail pressure (FRP) regulator, which is a part of the high pressure fuel pump. The FRP regulator is a magnetic actuator which controls the inlet valve of the high pressure pump. The ECM provides battery voltage on the actuator high circuit and ground on the actuator low reference circuit. Both circuits are controlled by the ECM. When the ECM deactivates the FRP regulator, both circuits are disabled and the inlet valve is held open with spring pressure. When the ECM activates the FRP regulator, the low circuit driver connects the low reference circuit to ground and the high circuit driver pulse-width modulates (PWM) the high circuit. The ECM uses the camshaft and crankshaft position sensor inputs to synchronize the FRP regulator with the position of the eccentric on the camshaft. The ECM regulates fuel pressure by adjusting the portion of each pump stroke that provides fuel to the rail. The high pressure fuel pump also contains an integrated pressure relief valve.
Your best bet is have it towed to the dealer , you don't want to mess with the high pressure pump .

P1250

The location of WHAT???

Diagnostic Test Code (DTC) P1250 is a manufacturer - specific code which has a general description of "Pressure Regulator Control (PRC) Solenoid Circuit Malfunction".

The PCM monitors input voltage at Pin number 44 when the ignition is turned on. DTC P1250 sets when less than .44 volts are present. The possible causes are:
> PRC Valve malfunction (open or shorted internally)
> Open or short circuit between the PRC valve and the PCM (control circuit)
> Open or short circuit in the solenoid ignition voltage supply circuit
> Failed PRC valve (stuck open)
> Malfunctioning PCM
