Check for split hose's around the inlet manifold.Sounds like a vacuum leak.

There could be several things wrong. Here are some possibilities.
The easiest could be a filthy air filter, but not likely.
Another possibility, is that you are not getting enough gasoline sprayed into the intake. This could be caused by a couple of reasons. Your fuel pump may not be strong enough to spray the correct pressure of fuel, so you would need a fuel pressure test. Your injectors could be clogged. You could have several injectors or just 2, i would have to see it or look it up. You could replace your injectors if the spray is not correct or try to clean them with a solvent that you add to your gas tank or dis-assemble the injectors and clean them with a corrosive solvent. You would need a kit to do this that comes with new little gaskets and 'o' rings.
Another possibility is that your air/fuel may be out of adjustment and that you need more oxygen in your fuel mixture. You would need to find the fine adjustment screw and fiddle with it.
You may need a tune-up. Which woould require new spark plugs and spark plug wires. You might need an ignition coil or coil pack. This little device decides when to produce a spark like the old distributor cap & rotors did. If you so happen to still have a cap & rotor, replace them.
You may need to replace your fuel filter. It could be slowing down or lowering your fuel pressure.
You may need an oxygen sensor replaced which screws into your exhaust. This will analyize your exhaust emissions and may be feeding your computer false information, causing your vehicle to behave poorly.
You may also have a bad MAP (Mass Air flow Pressure) sensor which would control your air/fuel intake adjustments automatically.
If you can perform any of these funtions, you will save money. You can rent a fuel pressure testing kit at Checkers/Shucks/Kragen or AutoZone and many other Car Parts Stores. Many of the specialty tools that you would need to test and replace these items can be rented from the parts store.
I hope this gives you some things to work on and think about.

to chech and see if all the spark plug is working -- engine does not miss , or any vacume hose fall off . also your fuel filter is good \
