My battery is new and it cranks but will not start. I was driving down the road and it shut off and would not start. It seems it is either not getting fyel or spark to plugs.
What can cause this?
It's a fuse on side of the dashboard--I think its the one (20 amp) on the top left side or close to that area
You might need to proform a tune up new fuel filter oil change new spark plugs and wires this should fix it for you

The car was running fine and it quit. If it was a fuel filter it would have been running rough up to the time it quit.
If it was plugs or wires it would have given me advanced warning by running rough.
It has to be a sensor or something.

This happened to me the other day. The truck has no spark and no fuel pressure in the rail. We hooked it up to a very capable system analizer but cannot get into the pcm. Someone told me about an auto shutdown relay, says it gives these exact symptoms when it dies. Any imput to shed some light on this would be helpful
2000 dodge avenger exact same problem. replaced battery , fuel pump wires etc. died while driving, started and died again. now it will turn over but will not crank
