First thing is to have the computer scanned for trouble codes.
My guess would be a torque converter or overdrive problem.

The throttle position sensor may be misaligned. This tells the computer how much throttle is being applied, and when they go bad, or come out of alignment, the idle tends to get up there. If that's not the issue, remove your air cleaner, the housing and everything until you get to the MAP sensor. Give it a good spray with carb cleaner, let it dry and replace the air cleaner with a new one. If the MAP sensor detects minimal air flow, the computer jacks up the idle to compensate.

SOURCE: Chrysler Concorde LXI 4 door - 2004 The car starts up and seconds after, the RPM drops and the car shuts off. The code P0513 comes up on the computer.

That is a code for an invalid skim key. If you have another skim key try it. If it does the same thing then the skim module may be bad.

There is a faulty sensor or valve. Sounds like a valve. The best thing to do, is take it somewhere that can diagnose the trouble code. Autozone can I believe, and they can tell you exactly what's going on with it.

Cant find the drain plug on the oil pan for my 1999 chrysler concorde lxi

The oil drain plug is located on the side of the oil pan, passenger side. It does not look like a typical drain plug, as it's one of those quick drain type. It is meant to be hand loosened and tightened. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN or you are in for a world of hurt. Just firmly finger tight

2000 Chryler Cirrus - engine races all the time

Either the throttle body is being held open by something or the idle control valve is stuck open. Check where the throttle cable hooks to the throttle body, make sure the cable is not caught on something.

1999 lxi.check engine light is on,but still car run well.

Get the free engine diagnostic from a local Advanced Auto or Autozone and ask them for a print out. The engine light could be any number of sensors and it can cause you problems when it comes to getting an emissions test (If your state.county has e-check). Hope this helps.

RPMS AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT

more than likely it could be a crank postion sensor but more than likely the tranny is slipping or having torque converter failure.
