Question about 2008 Chevrolet Equinox
I have only had the car less than a week went out to start it so i could leave and it will not start. I have tried to reset the codes and that has not helped

You can download a soft copy (PDF file) owner's manual by going to the following website and registering your vehicle. It's easy.
To reset the clock, with the ignition on, push the clock button and then turn the "i" dial to change the hours. Push the clock button again, to change the minutes, etc.

this is not the security system, it is the starter solenoid, the internal contacts of the starter motor solenoid are burned and eroded, it may strat if you try repeated attempts, but it will need the starter solenoid replaced to correct the problem.
