Flood lights stay on and won't turn off.

I have a 2004 Jeep Unlimited. This last week the flood lights come on even when the inginition is off and I cannot get them to go off. Even when I mess with the switch. When I apply pressure to the switch they go off but come right back on when I release it. I have the battery disconnected. Any information on how to replace or disconnect the switch?

you can do that only will get fix if there is no actual problems with the hydraulic system sounds like a pressure diffrential valve problem but make sure sometime the radio might ask for factory code after the battery is disconnect.
good luck hope this help.

SOURCE: 2006 Jeep Wrangler won't start

First, make sure you can turn the engine by hand. If you can't then the starter can't turn it either. Have someone else turn the key and look for the source of the click...may be a relay. Go over the starting circuit with a volt meter. Check for power at the starter main terminal and then with the key turned to "start" check for power at the trigger terminal on the starter. Check battery voltage and check relay operation.
You have a neutral safety switch on the transmission if its an automatic and a clutch switch if it's a stick. Check them as well. Make sure battery grounding on fender and block are also clean and secure.

2004 Nissan Sentra SE-R Cranks but won't start!

It could be the fuel system.
It could either flooding or starving for fuel.
If injectors are fouled badly it will wet the plugs and not fire.
If plugs are pitted that makes it easier to flood. (check plug tip condition, check all plug wires and boots are good)

If it is starving -- fuel pump weak (going to fail).
Need to test fuel pump pressure.

I have a 2004 saturn ion that currently got cought in the middle of a flood and now won't turn over the lights and the radio works perfectly fine but when I go to start it up it says service vehicles...

it has go into servise mode. you need to get it checked and have the sevise codes removed. the flood warter would of set this off if the service code was not remover from its last service.

Fuse box

The relay for the flood lights may be stuck on. Or maybe a circuit breaker. Put you finger lightly on the relays and or circuit breakers while it's buzzing. You will feel the offending one. Pull it out, give it a minute to cool down, then put it back in-If it keeps doing it replace it. Relays are inexpensive. If a new one or known good one does it all over again, you will have to check out the wiring.

My 01 Buick regal with supercharged 3800 won't

it flooded. step on the gas pedal fully and crank the engine; that forces it to go into a clear flood mode by turning off the injectors. it may take a little while, but it will start.

Two times in last two weeks it turns over but will not start. wait about 1 hour and try again and it starts. gas engine V10 acts like it is flooded.

That would be ... interesting for a brand new truck with EFI to flood. There are a few things I would suggest, next time this happens. First, try to start it up on Ether. Next, try and blow some compressed air into the manifold, and see if it shoots any fuel out (indicating overtime on the injector's part). Finally, see if it has vapourlocked right in the manifold, beside the heads... Other than that, it sounds like a computer glitch.
