SOURCE: air conditioner blower motor resister on dodge grand caravan

in my 2004 grand caravan it's behind the glove box and left of the blower motor. disconnect the wires first then remove the 2 screws to pull out the resistor unit. First make sure you have removed the negative of your batterie. I had the same pm that prevented the blower motor to operate in any speed. I hope this will help

SOURCE: Location of blower motor switch resistor on 2004 Grand Marquis

The blower speed controller is located under the hood on the right or passenger side on the heater housing just to the side of the heater hoses near the very back of the right cylinder head.
Yes that would cause the concern you are having.

SOURCE: how to replace a blower motor resistor in a 2004 jeep liberty

You have to take the glove box off and it is right behind it, need a #20 Torx to take it replace it. The glove box is the hardest part of the job, I just replaced mine on an 05 Grand Cherokee but it didn't fix it for me, was well worth the $8.60 to try though.

Blower moter does not work ( 2004 monte carlo )

Check for power to heater motor, if you have power then you will need a new heater motor. The heater motor is located under the dash on the passengers side. You can try tapping on the motor and sometimes it will start up (short term fix). There is also a resistor in behind the heater motor but normally the fan will work on one speed if the resistor is the problem.

Blower motor problems

There are three fuses involved.
A 10amp and 15amp that powers the control, and a 30amp that actually powers the blower motor control processor and the motor itself.
Do you have power on all three circuits ?

2002 monte carlo blower motor doesn't work

Go on the passengers side under the dash you will find the blower motor. You may have to remove the insulator panel to see underneath.Usually a couple of screws or plastic push pins. There`s a connector that goes from the blower motor to the blower resister. The problem is usually the resistor. You will need to check the connector out very carefully because they get hot and melt.If this is the case you need to replace both the resistor and the connector. Most dealerships stock these parts. Hope this helps.Good luck.

I have a 2004 chevy Monte Carlo and the heater fan won't kick in. What do I do?

The first thing I recommend is checking the fuse, then the electrical connections. If the fuse is good then I'd check the blower power wires, usually near the bottom of the glove box, making sure they are properly seating in their socket. You can further troubleshoot at this connection to see if voltage is getting to the blower motor. Use a DC volt meter, or a 12 volt tester light. The switch, relay, and blower resistor are other components in this circuit. Best of luck!
