Air conditioning not turning off

Could be the blend door under the dash. The doors direct air thru the heater core and out the vents.

Check to see if the cooling fans are coming on when the a/c is on.

You can have your mechanic friend test the motor under the hood where the wires plug into the blower. It sounds like the motor has went bad in my opinion, but it could be the plug is loose. I will be hoping its just loose for your sake and good luck!

If the compressor is failing, or there is a restriction in the ac system, the compressor could put a heavy load on the belt and the engine.
Normally the ac clutch would slip and not kill the engine, but anything is possible.
I t could be something else electrical too.

normal operating condition. niisan turns the ac comperessor on to remove moisture from the air. yes it is controled by the ECM/computer.

The heater resistor is probably faulty, its located near the blower fan

DOES THE ENGINE OVERHEAT WHILE DRIVING? IS THE COOLANT CLEAN AND THE SYSTEM FULL? NEED TO KNOW THESE THINGS TO GIVE U AN INTELLIGENT ANSWER.

need to have the body control module scanned for codes.may need to go to the dealership for fix
