Cannot get to heater blower motor in 1993 Dodge Dakota

In attempt to replace heater blower I am having trouble getting to it. Do I have to drop the steering column in order to get to it? What is meant by removing the "module?" There seems to be 3 column covers. First one is under dash, which I removed. Do the smaller two covers on column have special screws?

2003 Dodge Dakota is stuck on defrost, only blowing hot air. A/C will not turn in, mirror defrost will not turn on. Just replaced blower motor resistor to fix fan not coming on. Fan is working.

Can you measure and VOLTAGE across the resistor?

Where is the heater resistor on a 2005 dodge dakota? Behind glove box?

should be just above the blower motor. You will need to remove the glove box door to gain access.

How do I get to the blower motor for a 1995 dodge Dakota to replace it ?

Bad design on the 1995 Dodge Dakota. The dash has to be removed to replace the blower motor. May want to replace the heater core while the dash is out to keep from having to remove it later for a leaking heater core.

I have a 1993 Dodge Dakota pickup with a 318 C.I.D. engine, two wheel drive. My blower motor for the A/C - heater is not working. Where is this motor located and what does it look like?

look under the hood on the fire wall on the passenger side of the car if its not there then try under the dash on the passenger side of the vehicle as far as what it looks like youll know it when you see it it protrudes out and it has a wire plug harness on it.

No blower for defroster

Try replacing the resistor. I think those ones are located under the cowl on the passenger side. Ask a dealer to confirm that first.
