reach behind the headlight and uplug it, rotate the bulb holder ring countgerclockwise pull the holder straight out replace with new bulb. Do not touch the bulb with your bare hand, oil from your hands can cause it to burn more quickly.

The water pump has a plastic impeller and the blades are eroded.Will need to replace water pump and it is not a big job.Let me know if I can help.

Get a good used one. and repair

Try to fixed it first try to check the water pump maybe you need to replace the water pump that's why you are running hot.

Section 03-06: Starting System 1996 Taurus, Sable Workshop Manual REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION Starter Motor Removal

1. WARNING: WHEN SERVICING STARTER MOTOR (11002) OR PERFORMING ANY MAINTENANCE IN THE AREA OF THE STARTER MOTOR, NOTE THAT THE HEAVY GAUGE INPUT LEAD CONNECTED TO THE STARTER SOLENOID (11390) IS HOT AT ALL TIMES. MAKE SURE THE PROTECTIVE CAP IS INSTALLED OVER THE TERMINAL AND IS REPLACED AFTER SERVICE.
   Disconnect the battery ground cable (14301). Refer to Section 14-01 .
   

1. Raise the vehicle on a hoist. Refer to Section 00-02 .
   

1. CAUTION: When disconnecting hardshell connector of the engine control sensor wiring (12A581) at S-terminal, grasp the plastic shell and pull off. Do not pull on wire. Be careful to pull straight off to prevent damage to the connector and S-terminal. If any part of the connection is damaged, replace the damaged components.
   Disconnect engine control sensor wiring and starter battery cable from starter solenoid.
   

1. Remove upper and lower retaining bolts.
   

1. Remove starter motor.
