If you have the V-6, there are actually 3 converters. One on each engine bank and one after the Y pipe

SOURCE: Change front wheel bearings

u will need to remove the brake cailper and the the brake rotor, then the hub retaining nut, that is a large metric nut, the bearing and hub must come off, then u will need to take this hub to a machine shop or the dealer and have the new bearing pressed in.

SOURCE: How do I change the tail lights on my hyundai tiburon 2003

Open your hatch and behind the tail lights you will see panels with plastic knobs you can unscrew. Behind there are 3 8mm nuts you need to unscrew which will let you remove the whole tail light assembly. There is a post on the actual tail light assembly that holds it in so you may have to give it a firm pull to actually seperate it from the car. If you have the stock infinity sub you will need to remove that first to get to the drivers side tail lamp.

How much does it cost to fix the catalytic converted on a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon?

Don't ever use the word ballpark at a repair
shop or keep harping on prices or you may
& should be asked to leave
You can use your computer to look up parts prices
on hundreds of sites.
You don't replace any converter until you know you
have no engine cylinder misfires, proper fuel pressure,
fuel trim,no vacuum leaks,including exhaust,good or
new oxygen sensors
There is a reason why a converter fails
At 14 years of age ,sure, it's worn out, replace it.
Replace it your self

Replaced thermostat, radiator, fans kick on, changed catylatic converters, still over heats

The catalytic converter probably has nothing to do with the problem. Either the replacement thermostat is bad, or the there's something plugging your cooling system. Have you tried a radiator flush?

I want to change my 6 speed transmission to automatic how much trouble is it in a 2003 hyundai tiburon

It would be a fairly difficult project. You'ld need to change trans mount, different driveshaft, shifter & linkage, add a torque converter, new radiator w/trans cooler built in lower section, cooler lines. On top of all that, Hyundai automatic transmissions are very unreliable.

2003 hyundai tiburon check engine light

You're right, the PO154 has to do with the O2 sensor. The code has the info of Oxygen Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 2 Sensor 1).
Bank 2 is the exhaust manifold that cylinder #2 uses.
Sensor 1 is the sensor in BETWEEN the exhaust manifold and the catalytic converter.
No Activity Detected in the circuit could mean the O2 sensor is dead, or an open/cut wire going to the sensor.
That's about all the info you can get out of that code PO154.

2003 hyundai tiburon won't start, (key shape light comes on)

The key icon is not the check engine light but the immobilizer light, therefore the car wont start. I have the same issue with my 03 Tiburon after i changed the motor and tranny. It ran fine for a couple of days and the quit.
I took towed the car to a dealership and they stated I needed a new BCM for $1200. However, I got a used BCM from an auto wrecker and will get the dealership to program it for about $200.
