The battery on my truck will be dead after about 2 weeks sitting. It's a new battery and the time display on the radio stays on. I don't remember that happening before. Also, the dome light works from the dash switch but not from either door switches. Don't know if the 2 issues are related or not.

the part of the door the switch hit my be worn down and you may need some type of spacer if it will go off when you push the switch all the way down

your door close switch is non-functional. its located in the door jamb. its a black button the size of a shirt button. usually held in by one or two screws.
there is one for each door.

this is what it looks like it will be mounted on the door jam not on the door just look for it you will find it . it works bye when you open the door it grounds the dome light ground wire to the body. i have fixed thees before it isnt too hard. if the pic does not come up i will put the link under it

on your interior light switch (dimmer switch) just get in the vehicle close doors and turn the dimmer switch and that should do it

I had the same problem. I had to check the fuses in the engine compartment, I then had to replace two 15 amp fuses, after I replaced the fuses the problem was gone.
