How do i disarm alarm on mercedes 1987 560sl - 1987 Mercedes-Benz Mercedes Benz 500 Class

To disarm the alarm, you press the unlock button on the remote.

Perhaps you could click Edit and make the second part make sense. Why is your car 'having lunch', and 'you don't die I'll codes are clear'??

Best bet is to pay an alarm installer technician to kill the old alarm.

if it is a factory alarm system fitted, pulling a fuse will do nothing(the thieves would have it away in no time....)and as there are so many aftermarket alarms available any good system would not be so easy to disarm,try something else.(how do we know you are the owner.......)

I had this problem one time with my 1988 560sl. I must have sent it to the shop 15 times when the alarm would randomly go off. The alarm would go off when I opened the door and sometimes while I was just driving down the road. The shop never could figure out what the problem was. They wanted to disarm the alarm, but I didn't allow them to do so.

After months of frustration, and spending nearly $1500 on visits to the service department and my alarm still going off every other day, my aftermarket cd player started to act up. Bingo.

I took my 560sl back to the shop and asked them to check out the wiring on my radio. Turns out, when Bestbuy removed my original tape player/radio, they clipped the original wire connections and attached new ones that would fit my new cd player.

In the end, I spent another $1500 on parts and labor to have all of the wires pulled out and replaced with new ones ordered from Mercedes Benz in Germany. 5 years later, both my alarm system and my aftermarket cd player work perfectly. Thanks to Bestbuy, my $150 cd player ended up costing me an extra $3000.

I don't know if this will help anyone or not, but it's worth looking into.

the reset procedure is to lock and unlock the drivers or passengers door with the key, if that doesn't work then u have a problem with the disarm switch in the door

in the passanger foot will under the false floor in the front is where the alarm module is located. There should be 2 plug connecters one is the alarm module. You can unplug it and the alarm will be disabled and the vehicle will run fine(assuming it is a factory alarm)
