Can you use a hacksaw blade to measure?
Hi Noel and Hi Ruth, Depending on the engine fitted to your Corolla, you may need to fit double electrode plugs which are pre set. Most reputable plug manufactures preset the gaps these days, but in the event that they are single electrode and need resetting, go for one millimeter. Regards John

no points on ur car (check from the center of distributor cap and follw that wire, it leads to the COIL) and gap is usually indicated under the hood on a sticker. Should be right near the front of the hood (on the underside) or just above the rad.

pull the 4 plugs out on the top of the engine and get an extinsion and spark plug remover from an automotive shop all it takes is to pull it out and replace it with a new spark plug very easy and it might take 10 min. to do

when you open your hood the plugs are facing the fire wall ... the pipes facing you are not the exhaust hedders they are the intake pipes from the air cleaner..
