My brake lights on my 96 Blazer 4X are not working, but all the rest of the lights work. Fuses seem to be okay. When tested, there is power going to and out of the fuses, but no brake lights. I have a 2007 Chevy Silverado. My rear brake lights don't work, but my top (third ) brake light does. I have checked all the fuses, and replaced the bulbs.
Have you checked the brake light switch thats activated by the brake pedal arm?if not follow the brake pedal arm up under the dash and you will find a switch that goes on and off when you push the arm in and out.Make sure you have power in and out and the switch is correctly adjusted.
It is a common chevy problem for the circuit board that holds to bulb to fail, are your running lights and signals still working back there as well? If not then you need to replace the boards.

I think on that model the turn signals and brakes are the same bulb. So check your turn signals. Maybe a turn signal switch problem.

The top brake light works. I cannot find a fuse for them. is there one?
