No heat have replaced thermostat and had radiator flushed

Flush the radiator and replace the thermostat. That sludge is plugging your internal cooling ports

disconnect the heat hoses going into fire wall , put hose into one with pressure and flush as it sounds like it could be bloked in the heater core,the other thing that could be the problem be the hot ,cold switch as it restricts the flow to makes the heater hoter or colder , it might need tlc or replacing as it is manaul not elec

Air in the system , bad water pump , cooling fans not working ! Maybe you should take to a shop ?

Replace the thermostat. I have had bad luck with aftermarket thermostats on this particular year of GM/ Chevy trucks.They tend to stick closed and then fully open, thus causing the temp to sort of surge hot and cold. A good thermostat will slowly open maintaning a good consistant temp. I would recommend spending a little more and getting a GM thermostat.

Start with Flushing out your cooling system. Flush it out with Preston Radiator flush, you have your preference of ether the super flush which takes 3-6 hours or the 10 min flush which is good if you don't have the time to flush out your cooling system.

After you have flushed out your cooling system, replace your thermostat and you should be good for another cold winter driving. What happens is that after a few years of the coolant not being serviced, the coolant crystallizes and clogs up the heater core and radiator causing poor circulation. Poor circulation will cause poor heat and or overheating issues to the engine.

Before you go through all that inspect to make sure you have the right amount of coolant in your cooling system.

You may have air in the system. Let the engine run with the radiator cap off until the thermostat opens. Have someone then get in the truck and bring the rpm up to 1800 to 2000 rpm and hold it there for 15 to 20 seconds while you top off the system with coolant and put the radiator cap tightly back on. Then bring the rpm down to idle and road test the truck. DO NOT BRING THE RPM BACK DOWN TO IDLE UNTIL THE RADIATOR CAP HAS BEEN INSTALLED COMPLETELY. I suggest replacing the radiator cap at this time also.

thermostat or heat sencer on the radiator flush it with coolent flush. and use 50/50 coolent

I recommend flushing the radiator thoroughly if not done recently. there seems to be some sort of blockage in the radiator at this time. if you get lots of metal fragments that are flushed out during this flush, i will then recommend a rebuild on the radiator or replacement of the radiator. make sure the cooling fans are cycling on time as well.

Did you get a new one? or used and yes you need to replace thermostat , also flush radiator and system repeatedly as your heater core maybe becoming blocked buy some radiator flush and read directions! follow heater hose to engine, thermostat will be in the top line

Sounds like the radiator is clogged up. I would try to flush it or, replace it.
