The vegicle is a 1998 GMC Sierra. The product was a Permatex adhesive using a two solution process. I'm wondering if the metal patch is preventing adhesion to the windshield or whether I need an adhesive that will bond the button to the metallic patch as opposed to the glass in most common applications. The vegicle is a 1998 GMC Sierra. The product was a Permatex adhesive using a two solution process. You don't. Disconnect the negative battery terminal, remove the two screws at the back of the steering wheel that hold the air bag in place, pull the air bag up and disconnect the wire. Reverse order for instalation.
Sounds like you have air in the steering system. Raise the front of the truck up and set on jack stands to where it will no interfear with the steering. Block the rear tires on truck to keep it from rolling. Make sure the the steering pump is full of fluid before start to remove air from system. Turn the key on and start the engine, then turn the wheel to the very far right and hold for 1 minute. then turn it to the far left and hold it for 1 minute. Do this several times and check the fluid in the pump from time to time to keep it full. This should help to get the air that is trapped in the steering out. Hope this will help you.
you have hydralic brake system.control by the power steering pump.check power steering pump fluid if low add.if fluid level good have the dealership check it out.your booster or power steering is going bad.
first what you want to do is locate the water pump. then release then tension off the belt that it is connected to. there should be 2 or 3 bolts and undo them and pull it out. then replace with the new one.
ok thanks alot
