SOURCE: 2000 Silverado daytime running lights don't work. bulbs new.

Not saying that you don't know this but the daytime lights are turned off in park.
If that is not your problem, a friend of mine uses the amber bulbs, they last longer.

SOURCE: po452 trouble code changed sensor engine light

you may have to drive it several days for the light to go off, or have the codes cleared. personally I would just drive it. if the computer tests it, and it passes the test, it will go off on its own.

SOURCE: Where is the knock sensor 2 (bank 2) located on a

I don't have a diagram but they are under your intake manifold. It's not to bad of a job. You don't have to remove the fuel rails or the injectors, they can come up with the intake. The #2 knock sensor is the one in the rear. I will suggest getting both of them and also the harness and do it all while you have it apart. I believe you will find that water has gotten down in the hole where the knock sensors are located. Make sure to clean it out very good with compressed air before you install your new knock sensors.

2000 Pontiac Grand Am SE Remove Ambient Light Sensor

Actually, just wipe it off with a soft clean cloth. Shouldn't get too dirty, maybe dusty with road grime as the other parts of the interior.

Perhaps there is a problem with the circuit.

How do to get to light sensor that is in the very top front of the dash by the windshield. I may not be calling it by its proper name, but on 2003 1500 chevy truck this makes headlights come on

It is called the ambient light sensor.
You have to remove the instrument panel top cover.
To do this you have to first remove the instrument panel trim plate.Pull it off carefully.
If your truck is an automatic, apply the parking brake, move the shift lever all the way down and tilt the steering wheel down to enable removal.
Next remove the left & right side end panels, the right side air vents & the assist handle.(The release tabs are accessed through where the vents were)
Remove the left & right windshield trim moldings by pulling straight out.
Remove any bolts retaining the trim panel and lift it up.
Turn the light sensor 1/4 turn to remove it.

I have a 2000 chevy silverado Z71. The drl quit

There is a light sensor that tells the truck if it is night or day on the dash. Make sure that is it not covered up. If is is not then you may have a bad sensor. It sounds like the sensor is telling the truck that it is night every time the truck is running.

Start the tuck with the park brake on to see if the light come on when it starts. If they do you have a bad relay if not it is most likely that sensor on the dash.
